HADDO FISHERY

Haddo Trout Fishery has gained an excellent reputation in the North East of Scotland and is an ideal location for a great Hard fighting Fish set in magnificent scenery ideal for a day’s fly fishing. The fishery covers just over five acres with an average depth of around five feet and is stocked with Brown, Rainbow and Blue Trout.

Surrounded by mixed woodland, this is a peaceful, scenic, sheltered lake and a great place to relax and enjoy the wildlife. Haddo is often described as the “Wild at heart” fishery, with prolific insect life inviting great fly fishing sport. Fishing is from boat, currently 2 boats available due to repairs (3 more boats arriving before Easter), or float tubes (bring your own waders).

From March 1st 2017 the fishery is open from 08:30 until dusk with the exception of Wednesdays unless booked. Winter opening times will vary depending on sunrise times and weather through November through to March
